We apologize for the lack of a separate July update but all of our computers became inoperable within a few days of one another and the new, highpowered replacement had to be sent back upon arrival! Thus, we have only had rudimentary capabilities the past few weeks.
NEW. Our Fall 2007 Sales List is here.
NEW. We have added a link to Cady's Falls Nursery. This company was brought to our attention by Tom Velardi. Their website
shows a beautiful property with very healthy plants including Cypripedium. We are looking forward to a first-hand visit next spring!
We have removed a few links that have gone inactive over the past few months.
NEW. Ross Kouzes from Oregon does field trips to see the local flora and every year he sends around magnificient photographs of plants most of us do not have an opportunity to see. Ross has allowed us access to photos of Cypripedium californicum and Cypripedium fasciculatum from his collection. Please keep in mind that these photographs are the property of Ross Kouzes and may not be reproduced without his express, written permission.
Cyp californicum is a magnificient species with small flowers but often hundreds of them. It has a very limited distribution along the Oregon-California border. This is Ross next to a large specimen to give perspective about its size. Photos are copyrighted by Ross Kouzes and may not be used without his express, written permission.
Cyp fasciculatum is an unusual species with clusters of flowers. This is the most impressive specimen that I have ever seen pictured. Photos are copyrighted by Ross Kouzes and may not be used without his express, written permission.
