NEW. Many new Cypripedium hybrids are being registered in 2007. We have updated our hybrid lists.

NEW. We are slowly upgrading our grow areas. Here are some shots of Shade House 1. It is 14 feet x 24 feet, oriented East-West and is covered with 70% shade cloth. There are overhead sprinklers and fertilizer is administered using a Dosatron fertilizer injector. After this growing season we will add a 16 foot extension to the back to make the shade house 40 feet in length.

The seedlings in the south bed are all Cyp reginae raised at the Garden from flasks. Those nearer the camera are in their third growing season outside and those nearer the rear are in their second year outside.
